Legal CPD That Improves How Your Lawyers Work This Week

Your lawyers have to earn CPD hours. Give your legal team access to practical, research-grounded sessions that sharpen focus, support business development, and strengthen leadership skills.

There's a villain walking the halls of your firm.

But it's not a person. Not a policy. Not a broken process.

The villain is the inner critic.

It creates noise inside the heads of everyone, even your top performers. You know — that noise that second-guesses, hesitates, or overthinks when it matters most.

It drains focus, confidence, and billable momentum every single day. Left unchecked, it leads to missed deadlines, team friction, client mistakes, and burnout masked as overwork.

The inner critic erodes performance everywhere you look.

Even the most seasoned lawyer hears the noise. They’ve just gotten better at hiding it.

The noise doesn't disappear just because someone is bright, senior, or well paid. If anything, higher stakes make the inner critic louder. What changes performance is how well a person understands that noise and what they do with it.

That is what
MeQ™ Self-Intelligence builds.

MeQ™ is my practical framework for helping people work with their own mind, not against it. MeQ™ focuses on three things.
  • Self-awareness so lawyers can see what's happening in the moment, not three days later.
  • Mental wellbeing so they have the capacity to focus, decide, and follow-through.
  • Goal achievement so progress shows up in real work, not just in good intentions.
You will see MeQ™ in the background of everything I do with firms. It shapes the CPD and training your legal team gets and it is the engine that drives the performance shifts we're aiming for.

Want the full story behind MeQ™ and my background? Read more on the About Nancy page.

It's not therapy.
It's self-mastery — the kind top performers turn into a competitive edge.

How LexPro Learning Works For Your Firm

LexPro Learning is how I structure CPD so lawyers don't just listen to it. They use it to change how they work that week.

Write your awesome label here.

At it's core is a simple loop:

Learn
Focused, practical sessions grounded in research on decision making, attention and human behaviour, always tied back to the way lawyers actually manage their work
Apply
Clear, concrete actions they can implement right away on current files, business development, client communication, or team interactions.
Review
Lawyers notice what actually shifted in their day-to-day work. What felt easier. What still drags. Sometimes this happens alone. Sometimes in conversation with colleagues, coaches, or mentors.
Refine
They keep what works and adjust what doesn't so useful changes start to become habits, not just good intentions after a webinar. Then they circle back to Learn with sharper insight for ongoing improvement.
Empty space, drag to resize

For firms, this means CPD that does more than fill a calendar. It gives your lawyers a clear link between the hour they just spent and the way they work the rest of the week.

Where LexPro Learning Makes The Biggest Difference
Every program sits on three core performance areas. You can start with one or mix them based on what matters most for your firm.

Mental Focus

When the noise is loud, even simple work feels heavy, even for the most experienced person. These sessions help lawyers:

  • cut down on second-guessing
  • prioritize what matters in a busy day
  • stay composed even under pressure

Business Development

Most lawyers know they "should" do more BD. The gap is rarely knowledge. It's follow-through. These sessions help them to:

  • take small, consistent BD actions
  • have clear, confident prospect meetings
  • build a BD rhythm that fits their practice

Leadership

Many lawyers find themselves leading others with little experience or support on how to do it well. These sessions help leaders:

  • communicate expectations clearly
  • delegate in a way that builds trust
  • address issues early and avoid conflict

LexPro Learning works because it's a complete professional development system that meets people where they are and delivers lasting change through practical, high-impact tools:
  • Live and on-demand CPD webinars that shift perspectives and build buy-in
  • Microlearning tools like the MeQ Essentials Series to create consistent performance upgrades
  • Optional 1:1 coaching and AI content wizards to deepen transformations
Why Firms Work With Me

Nancy Morris, MSc
Applied Positive Psychology

Hi, I'm Nancy!

I have spent more than forty years with law somewhere in my work, from starting as a paralegal in the 1980s to working with firms and legal teams in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

Over that time, my tools and resources have been delivered millions of times to thousands of professionals worldwide through CPD programs, licensed content, live workshops and webinars, and email-based training. I hold an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and am professionally certified in business psychology through the Association for Business Psychology in the UK.

Everything I teach is grounded in research on decision-making, attention, metacognition, and human behaviour, then translated into the reality of legal practice.
My work is like sports psychology for lawyers and paralegals - built to unlock top-tier performance by developing the edge most professionals have never been taught. Firms come to me when they want:
  • CPD that improves how people work this week, not just another certificate
  • Lawyers who can focus, follow through, and handle pressure with less internal drag
  • Leadership behaviour that supports performance instead of quietly undermining it

If your firm is doing well but you want to help your people work with more focus, confidence, and consistency, let's talk.

Patricia Simpson

Partners who send young lawyers to networking events would get more bang for their buck if the young lawyers first listened to your Rainmaker Habits course, as would any lawyer who needs to market but prefers lawyering.

Andrew McFarlane

At the end of Q1 last year, we were at $1.2 million. This year, same sized team, revenue up 30%. You got in their heads!

Mike Thomas

I feel fortunate to have an executive team supporting me with this.

Nancy's style is direct, punchy, and motivating. There is no pretense or judging and you know you are working with someone who can be objective about challenges. There has only been an upside to working with Nancy and I can't think of many other instances where I could make that statement.

Saku Hyttinen

I'm looking to challenge myself and use your workbook again to refresh the techniques involved. I've been lucky enough to be in your class twice and found it fantastic.

Carole Adams

I wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your programs and classes. I know that what I've gained from your programs will benefit me in all aspects of what lies ahead. Thank you!

Sarah Vadeboncoeur

The greatest gift I actually got was finding my confidence. That was the real game-changer for me!
