Yesterday you started to simplify or delegate some tasks so your life is more manageable, in spite of constant changes.
Now that you’ve done that, keep your eyes off the rest of the to-do list.
You see, many people tend to review their entire to-do list before starting on any one task. Let’s face it; all you get out of this is – you guessed it – more stress and frustration. And hoping the long list will magically shrink each time you look at it just won’t work – you must take action.
But knowing you have the control to deal with whatever comes up will release the burden and it won’t look so overwhelming.
Action – So stay in the present moment. Keep your workspace clean of everything except one thing you’re working on. Focus your attention on the task at hand – what’s in front of you – and don’t let yourself be swayed or distracted.
