From health comes wealth.

No one can sustain the attitudes and actions of achievement without the solid foundation of a healthy lifestyle. This doesn’t mean you won’t ever get sick but it does mean that you must place physical and mental well-being above all else.

  1. 10 minutes every workday I take time to stretch my body and settle my mind…always leads to a more productive day than the days I chose to sleep in…

  2. There is a saying in our house that Health is Wealth and it is true. I have really been adrift from self care recently and tick many on the list above. I think though they are a symptom of something else and serve a function as well. For example I have been keeping very late hours and not getting enough sleep. So I explored that a bit and what I’ve discovered is that I stay up late so I have a little time for me. So the need is for solitude. I’m planning a hotel break just for me and going to bed earlier now. So that’s a long way of saying that when we understand the need we are trying to fulfil from less than ideal behaviours then we can make other plans. Whew!!

    1. You are correct, Sharon, in that almost all our behaviors can act as a signal. It’s great that you took the time to explore the sleep situation and come up with a new plan for you!
