Most of us focus on the wrong thing.

Quite literally, we keep our eyes on what is going wrong.

But, the more you look for problems, the more problems you’ll find and the less time you’ll have for finding answers.

Success comes to those who identify their problems and then use their resources to create solutions.

You see, successful people spend only 10% of their time and energy on clarifying problems and a full 90% on creating solutions. Switching your focus to solutions can have a great payoff for you.

Action – Divide a sheet of paper into four equally-sized boxes. Write out the specifics of a current problem in one box. Then, in the other three boxes, brainstorm ideas and plan what your solution will look like.

That’s still a 25/75 split of resources but you’ll be well on your way to a new level of success.
