Difficult people. You know who they are. Argumentative, negative people who tend to find conflicting opinions for just about everything.
Maybe, just maybe, they exist for something other than just annoying us!
They teach us important things such as:
– dialectic insight
– how to manage conflict
– how fortunate we are in our own lives
– what we may put others through when we are difficult
The longer you hold on to the notion that a difficult person only wants to bother you, the longer you are left without the possibility of a positive purpose.
Action – What person in your life would you define as being difficult? What positive purpose might that person actually be fulfilling in your life?
Remember, somebody out there loves that difficult person, so that is not who they really are. Find the positive purpose in their behavior and learn more about yourself from them.
