There’s a saying out there I’m sure you’ve heard that states – Knowledge is power.
You know what? I don’t agree with that.
Possessing knowledge is great, sure, but not doing anything with it is a tragedy!
While we always have new stuff to learn, all of us have knowledge. Yet every time we keep our mouth shut when we could actually share what we know with others, we limit ourselves and them.
Knowledge means nothing if we don’t use it.
Successful people are lifelong learners. But they also teach others what they’re learning.
What bit of information or skillset do you have that you would like to share with others? What knowledge remains hidden away because you keep it to yourself? What are others missing out on because you are quiet?
Action – As a first step, simply write out a one page ‘training plan’. Imagine you are a teacher in a classroom of eager students. What would the structure of your plan look like? What’s the start, middle and end of the learning day? What will they walk away with?
Use the knowledge you have and enhance those around you by sharing. That is where real power lives.
