Most of us focus on what is going wrong. Real success comes to those who identify their problems but spend their time and energy on solutions!
The more we look for problems, the more problems we’ll find and the less time we’ll have for creating solutions. If you’re one of those who constantly feels overwhelmed by problems, it may be that you are only focused on challenges, not on how to resolve them.
You see, successful people give just 10% of their power to identifying and clarifying problems and a full 90% to creating solutions.
Action – Divide a sheet of paper into four equal sized boxes. Use just one of the boxes to write out the specifics of a current problem. Then, use the other 3 boxes to brainstorm, plan and schedule it’s solution.
That’s still a 25/75 split of resources but you’ll be well on your way to a new level of success.
