Information means nothing unless and until it is experienced. So tell me – are you the type of person who continuously gathers information in the hopes of finding the solution to a specific problem?

I know many people who subscribe to a myriad of personal and professional development books, courses and CDs. Yet they can’t figure out why they still haven’t got the answer to that one nagging question.

Yes, sometimes you will need more data. But most how-to questions are easily answered as you begin to apply information you already have. You see, paralysis by analysis gets you nowhere!

Action – Next time you read a book, attend a workshop or even read a posting on this blog that inspires you, take active steps to implement what you’ve learned. See if and how it works for you over 4 weeks. Then go learn something else.

True learning and knowledge come as we experience the application of information, not as we acquire it.
