Are you suffering from information overload? Unfortunately, you’re probably working under the illusion that you NEED as much information as you can get!
Wrong!
I learned this lesson a few years ago when I noticed my inbox was loaded with industry newsletters and ezines. Immediately, I took my name off 75% of my email subscriptions.
My inbox immediately became quieter, which ironically brought up odd feelings of not being a part of the action. But I soon realized that the subscriptions I had kept gave me the information I needed and I had more time to interact with my clients.
Much of my business relies on my curious nature and access to new and timely information. But now, I’m very specific and choosy about where I get stuff from.
Action – I challenge you to unsubscribe TODAY (right now in fact) from at least 25% of your electronic or print information sources.
Determine what information is important and get rid of the rest!
