We’ve all heard the saying “knowledge is power.”

Well, I don’t agree with it!

Yes, we all have knowledge. But knowledge means absolutely nothing if we don’t use it AND share it. If we keep our knowledge to ourselves, then we are limiting ourselves and those who could take advantage of it.

Successful people are life-long learners. They also teach others what they’re learning.

What bit of information or skill set do you have that you would like to share? What knowledge can you pass on that would make someone else’s task easier? How can you help someone with what you know?

Action – As a first step, write out a one-page ‘training plan’. Imagine you are a teacher in a classroom of eager students.

What would the structure of your plan look like? What’s the start, middle and end of the learning day? What will your students walk away with?

Use your knowledge and enhance others by sharing. That’s where real power lies.
