Stop whining about failures!

You’re going to make mistakes, miss opportunities and screw it up occasionally. It’s not these things that affect success – it’s what you do after the inevitable mishaps that matters.

If you have a set back and stop, I would classify that as a failure. Not because of the set back, but because you chose to simply stop.

If you missed an opportunity, does that make you a loser? Only if you dwell on what could have been instead of boldly pursuing it another way.

Action – What was the last stumbling block on your path to achieving your goals? Look at the event again. Did you respond positively or have you started down another path of self-pity or self-deprecation?

How you react to the blips and glitches that will always occur in your life will determine your success or failure.

  1. That is so true!! I find that when I get emotionally attached to the outcome and it doesn’t happen, then I go headlong into a failure mode. I might later “pursue it another way” (not necessarily boldly however) but of course by then much time and energy are lost. Better to just say “hmmm, that didn’t work, let’s try something else TODAY, NOW” and boldly move forward. Thanks.
