Most people will say they love money. That’s great, but it’s not about loving money. It’s about money love.
Money is actually one of the manifestations of love. Hang on for a second, I’m not going all woo-woo on you here!
Have you heard the saying – do what you love and the money will follow?
If you don’t feel you have enough money in your life, I would hazard a guess that you really don’t like the work you do. Well, you may like it, but I’ll bet it doesn’t truly represent who you are.
Other than many of the vastly underpaid helping professions, the amount of money you make is directly proportionate to how much you feel authentic in your work.
In less than 5 minutes, I can often tell (a) whether someone is enjoying their work and (b) roughly how much money they make.
The relationship between love and money is that strong.
And there are other direct relationships between love and success too. I’ll bet that as you look back through some of the events in your life, the times when you felt most calm, most in control, most authentic, were times when you were doing something with a spirit of love.
Perhaps you were volunteering for a favorite charity. Maybe you were involved with a great hobby or sport. Or maybe you were with a special person, so special that time either flew by or actually stood still. Maybe you were in nature, walking through a forest or near a mountain and you felt overwhelming love.
And in those moments, you also felt truly successful, because under it all, our feeling of success comes directly from love.
Action – How would you love to spend your work day? What would inspire you to jump out of bed every morning with great anticipation? Write out your ideal work day and see what matches what you are currently doing. What DOESN’T match is where there is room for abundance.
When it comes to creating money in your life, search for what you love in life first and the abundance WILL come.
