What seems to be a wonderful team project can get sabotaged even though everyone was originally on board. The possibility of a promotion or a move up the corporate ladder leads to arguments at home despite years of planning and sacrifice.

On the eve of change, you may find that the people who were once cheerleaders are now resisting. They may even be digging in their heels.

Action – Before you start to judge their actions, either quietly consider or publicly investigate their fears and hesitations. To the best of your ability, give reassurance and patience as you lead others through change.
