Driving to work this morning, some guy cut me off and missed my front bumper by inches! Boy, that morning rush hour can be pretty treacherous!

How do you drive into the office? Do you leave at the last minute, geared up and ready for the rat-race that is the morning commute? Or are you more relaxed, perhaps listening to pleasurable music and enjoying the scenes outside your window?

In psychology, we understand that what people do inside their car is a strong indicator of their underlying character. Many people travel alone with no real attachment to the outside world, knowing that it is very unlikely they’ll ever see the guy in the next car ever again. That, in part, many drivers’ behavior while behind the wheel.

Action
– So, how do you treat others when you drive? Do you cut them off, race them from red lights or verbally abuse what you think are terrible habits? Do you yell and swear in the privacy of your 2 ton metal shield? What excuses do you use to explain how bad these other people are?

And most importantly, how do you change once OUTSIDE of your car?

What you do when you think no one is looking is very telling. What are you telling YOURSELF?
