This time last year, I was planning my wedding. And my marriage has pushed some emotional buttons I didn’t even know I had!

It’s been a rollercoaster ride of joy, fear, anger, happiness, frustration, fatigue and sheer bliss. And for all of it, I am truly grateful!

At home and at work, no doubt you have felt some buttons being pushed recently.

The key question though is this – WHO is pushing those buttons?

Your immediate response may be – oh, it’s the boss, or Bob down the hall, or my family.

In actual fact, it is YOU who pushes your own buttons. All your history, desires and expectations create the finger that pushes.

Action – Which of your fears were sparked by a recent negative situation? Which of your expectations was not met? Which “should” did you hear rattling around in your head?

By looking into yourself, you can stop your buttons being pushed. In fact, it is the only way!
