Do people call you a cry-baby? According to neuroscientists, this is a very good thing.

And you men out there could learn a thing or two from us females who have a tendency to cry when we’re happy, sad, angry or afraid.

You see, tears are quite literally cleansing your mind. But don’t stand around peeling onions to get the water-works working! Those tears are mostly salt water and simply occurring to protect the eye.

But emotional tears, those sobs cry-babies are famous for, have been found to be rich in protein-based chemicals that flood the brain when we are stressed. Crying, or at the very least some emotional tearing, is a way that the body reduces stress by eliminating those chemicals.
