Dealing with difficult people is, well, difficult!

Although we may not enjoy dealing with those people who are argumentative and negative, they provide us an opportunity to learn things about ourselves. Such as:

The longer you believe that the defining purpose of a difficult person is to bother you, the longer you go without appreciating the positives you gain from that experience.

Action – What person in your life would you define as being difficult? What positive purpose might that person actually be fulfilling in your life?

Remember, somebody out there loves that difficult person, so that is not who they really are.

Find the positive purpose in their behavior and learn more about yourself from them.

    thanks a lot.

  2. Thanks a lot, I have been reading blog post and should say you have been helping to reinvent myself everyday !!.

  3. Difficult people will always be among us, dealing with them is just a part of life. I have always disliked the additional stress that comes from negative people but love it greatly when a difficult person flips from the dark side and moves over in my direction. I agree with you completely that we learn more from them about ourselves and life would be a great deal less spicey if we all got along great.

  4. Great message!

Does the US President follow your column?

His conciliatory handover meeting with President – Elect hints at it!
