We recently got a new puppy. Radar, a miniature schnauzer who has particularly big ears, brings laughter, playfulness and joy into our home as only puppies can.
AND she brings the smell of wet dog, late nights of howling, and a complete disruption to our family schedule!
No matter how much we planned for this new addition, NOTHING really prepared us for the changes we are experiencing!
And the same holds true for the other types of transition everyone faces, whether positive or negative, at home or at work.
Corporate mergers, office moves, staff changes – all these events are planned in advance yet nothing compares to the actual experience!
As for Radar? Her saving grace is that she is sweet and adorable and we know that what seems to be overwhelming right now WILL get worked out.
Action – As will any change YOU must manage whenever some new event or situation comes along to disrupt your current way of doing things.
