Three simple letters have guided many of my personal and business decisions, and they are “I N W“. They stand for “integrity, needs and wants”.
Integrity comes first because by making it paramount, and then by uncovering and meeting your personal needs next, most of the things you think you want get fulfilled anyway.
Action – To understand what integrity means to you, figure out your core values, standards and beliefs.
To uncover your needs, think about the things you can’t live without – like safety, esteem or importance. Consciously or not, we will act to get these needs met, so it’s best to know what yours are and then take active steps to get them satisfied.
So now, when you honor your integrity and get your needs met, your wants will come naturally.
INW. These simple 3 letters can serve as your guide in creating a successful life.
So simple yet true. I think the hardest part about truth and simplicity is execution and persistence 🙂
I have often found that the hardest part is in realizing that it actually is simple. When we believe things must be complicated to be effective, the disbelief creates the difficulty in execution and, instead of staying persistent, we go off in search of something more complicated!
