In the world of self development, there is nothing new out there. Despite all the new “secrets” to success, it’s all the same old wisdom – with a new spin.

Socrates, Plato and Buddha would all be considered coaches now. But even their ideas and ideals were nothing new. If we really want to get metaphysical about all this, we could suggest that Universal Intelligence underlies it all.

Michelangelo said:

The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim
is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it.

The same still holds true today, as it will for centuries to come.

Action – What are you aiming for? The best way to tell is to look at the results you are currently getting. Are they big and magnificent or small and dull?

If you don’t like the results, adjust your aim! And always aim high!

(What now stands out as ‘aiming low’ in your life? Please reply using the comments box.)
