Although many people have success with vision boards, as an auditory learner, I respond much better to vision statements.

Here’s an example…

After deciding to move back to Canada from Europe, I was nervous and worried.

So, one day I wrote a short story of my life as it would be after my move. Over the course of a week, I whittled the story down to a 5-word phrase that was packed with personal meaning for me – it was “snow angels on Christmas morning.”

I told friends that whenever I was distracted or making excuses, they could repeat the phrase back to me. And sure enough, whenever I needed it, their voices with my words snapped me back to my sense of purpose and direction.

Action – Make a one sentence vision statement for your most meaningful goal. Ask others to say it back to you whenever they think you need to be reminded.
