Oh, So Agreeable

Winston Churchill, Britain’s Prime Minister during WWII, once said – the problems of victory are more agreeable than the problems of defeat, but they are no less difficult.

I don’t know exactly what he meant by this but I would imagine it was something like this:-

We prefer to win, but it’s not easy.

If you think that people who are successful have an easy time of it, you would be sorely mistaken.

First, few are born financially independent or destined for greatness. And second, everyone – rich, poor, or somewhere in the middle – has similar fears, loves, desires, wants and needs. We all face challenges, obstacles and sometimes even complete disasters as we work towards our life victories.

Action – If you have stopped pursuing a lifelong dream or ambition simply because it was getting a bit tough, smarten up! It was supposed to!

There will be difficult problems along the way and each will make the victory *oh so agreeable* when it does come.
