Seth Godin, a marketing expert, recently blogged about another simple formula for success.
Before I share it, I want to mention why I’m sharing it with you.
It drives me nuts to watch people complicate their success. To over-plan instead of acting, to dramatize instead of learning, to procrastinate instead of plowing through. The more complicated you make something, the less likely it is you’ll achieve it. Or the whole journey could be tarnished by fatigue, negative judgments and unnecessary stress.
Action – So consider carefully what he says, and notice HOW you respond to it:
First, go, make something happen.
Second, do work you’re proud of.
Third, treat people with respect.
Fourth, make big promises…and keep them.
And fifth, ship it out the door.
When in doubt, go back to number 1.
