“The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want and, if they can’t find them, make them.”
George Bernard Shaw made this pointed statement to show how people get what they want.
So, to borrow Shaw’s words, I’m asking you – when was the last time you truly and consciously created your reality?
It’s not hard actually. Ask yourself whether you don’t pursue certain goals because it’s not the right time, you don’t have the money or you didn’t get a good reading from your Tarot cards!
I often hear intelligent people use words like these as their “reason” for not going after a goal. These aren’t reasons – they’re excuses! And if you have excuses, then you are NOT making your circumstances.
Action – What’s your favorite excuse today? How can you eliminate that excuse?
As you do, you’ll be proactively creating what you really want.
Each morning, my phone’s alarm reminds me of the following: “Create your own reality. Seize the day!” This leaves no room for excuses. Thank you, Nancy, for the daily reminders to stay the course and keep reaching for my goals!
Carpe Diem !! I love how you associate that with leaving no room for excuses!
Thanks Nancy,
It is common, we give excuses for failure but we don’t find reason.
My common excuse I could not remember and I could not spent time for that.
Through the learning and motivational “simple sound solution” by you I become charge and start my day with confidence and I do.
Hi Rajeev … It’s always great to see your comments on these posts. It is my honor to share the day with you.

Vini Vidi Vici! No matter what the obstacle, I try to keep this in my mind to know that the joy of success is greater than the fear of no. Thank you Nancy!!
That’s right. And because both fear and success are a mindset, we can create them whenever we like.
