You may have heard me talk about priorities before and, pardon the pun, they are so important they are worth talking about again.
So, tell me something…what are your priorities?
Work, family, money? How about reputation, giving back or integrity?
Why is it soooo important to know what your priorities are? Because you can change how you feel in the blink of an eye when you change what you view as important.
Action – Here’s an exercise for you.
Think of something you’re feeling stressed about today. Maybe you’re worried that X isn’t getting done or that someone is going to let you down.
Has it got anything, really, to do with your priority of, say, a happy family? Really?
If it does, fine. DO something about it, because only you can.
But if it doesn’t, take a few moments right now to focus back on what, or who, is important to you.
Keeping your attention and energy on what your priorities really are, instead of those fiddly bits and annoying pieces that show up, will get rid of daily stressors fast.
