If you don’t run your own life, I guarantee you someone else will.

If you want to see a change in the way things are, you have to take matters into your own hands and decide what will happen next.

Now, I suspect you will tell me that you already do. But the degree to which you actually do make your own decisions is reflected in how often you say “I have no choice in the matter”.

Self-management is truly shown by whether you feel that right now, in this moment, you could decide to do something completely different from what you are doing already.

Not only that, but actually then go on to immediately take the actions necessary to manifest that decision.

If you’re humming and hawing a bit, then you are not really managing your own decisions. You are allowing many other factors to get in the way of your own process. Too many people are getting a look in.

Action – Make a list of all the goals you’d like to achieve in the next 6 months.
