There are no shortcuts to success. While there are definitely some tools and tricks for getting through unnecessary delays, there is only one formula that will get you to where you want to go.
And it is this – take persistent consistent actions over time directed toward a clear goal.
(There’s no need for me to write a book about it, appear on Oprah or anything else. So all I am going to say again is this – take persistent consistent actions over time directed toward a clear goal … and guess what happens!!??)
Action – Today, write out one clear goal you are willing to pursue over the next 7 days. Just one. Make it realistic for the timeframe and for your current commitments.
Then, identify one or two actions you need to take every day that will move you to that goal. Get support from others if need be. Then, without fail and with conviction, prioritize those actions and get it done.
Don’t waste time hoping some non-existent secret about fixing things will land on your lap; use your energy and efforts to make things happen. That is truly the only thing you need to know and do to create the success you want.
