Sometimes, good is just as valid as great. You see, far too many people wait around until some great new idea, great strategy or great gadget comes out before taking any action on their goals.
Or rather, they use the lack of something great as their reason for not doing anything.
I want you to think of a bell curve. The far left hand side is labeled “poor” and the far right hand side is labeled “great”. Obviously, the bell in the middle is labeled “good”.
When it comes to those new ideas, strategies and gadgets, relatively speaking, most of them will fall into the bell of “good”.
Yes, some will be horrendously poor and some will be amazingly great, but in the day to day of life and business, good is what you get.
Action – If you say you’re waiting for something great, you’re procrastinating. Allow that something to be good, and get back into action and move forward.
My favorite saying “Perfect is the enemy of good.”
