Goals are simply dreams with a deadline. Nothing becomes a goal by definition until you put a deadline on it.

Nothing is achievable until you say when it will be achieved by.

That might be later today, or tomorrow. Could be next Thursday or even 10 years from now.

Whatever that date is, it doesn’t matter.

Action
– Decide if you want that dream enough to set a date for it. And then pull out the calendar or turn on your time management software. However you do it, commit to the goal by writing it down and assigning a date for you to achieve it.

If you’re worried about failing to meet that date, put a cushion of time in. For example, if you think next Friday is too soon, commit to achieving the goal 2 weeks from now. Just set a date.

If you’re not prepared to set a date, it’s not a goal. Let it go.
