Every successful person has had someone try to bring them down. If you stopped pursuing your goals every time someone made a critical remark, you wouldn’t have made it out of kindergarten!
Even well-meaning friends can inadvertently put obstacles in your path. They may say you can’t do something, sparking doubts. Or that if you did, they might suffer, thus pushing your guilt button. Or maybe the naysayers are envious or unwittingly in competition with you.
For some people, the opinions of others far outweigh their own self-knowledge, ambition or intention.
Action – If other opinions are important to you, find people who will support and cheer you on. And demand the naysayers be quiet unless they have something positive to contribute.
Success comes to those who move forward despite what others may use to block the way.
