Confucius was absolutely correct when he said:

I hear and I forget.
I see and I remember.
I do and I understand.

Action really is the catalyst of mastery.

I love creating my audio clips and writing this blog. I trust that in some way the entries that reach you touch you.

But nothing you hear or read will be remembered long term if that is all you do with it. Somehow, some way, you must take action to make this information come alive.

Action – Here are some ideas for leveraging your learning:

  • Write a quick paragraph on the blog’s content the moment you have finished reading
  • With a teammate or colleague, debate the pros and cons of what you’ve heard on my audios (if your company is signed up to the syndicated program)
  • Send me an email and we can chat
  • Teach what you’ve read or heard to someone else

To make any kind of learning stick, you must DO something with it. Act and make it last!
