“Imagine”. A beautifully simple word.
If you’re in my age group, you’ll know that the word “Imagine” is the title to a wonderful song by John Lennon.
The melody of that song has a calming effect, yet also inspires and delights.
So does the word.
“Imagine”
Now its time to “Imagine” your goal completed.
One of the keys to success in achieving goals is to use your imagination, your power to visualize the outcome you desire.
Action – Every day from now until your goal is achieved, spend 5 minutes with your eyes shut, your mind quiet, simply imagining yourself the moment after you have achieved your goal.
Imagine your feelings of achievement and success.
Imagine how bright your eyes will be and wide your smile.
Feel the intangible parts inside of you.
See the tangible aspects of your goal in front of you. Maybe your goal is creating for you more money for you, or more time to spend with family. Maybe you will be traveling to far off parts of the world. Or starting your own business.
5 minutes, every day, at least once a day.
And if you are now saying “I don’t have 5 minutes”, then its time to rethink the priorities of your goals!
