The way to get things done is to schedule your priorities, NOT prioritize your schedule.

It’s the actions and habits that will move you fastest toward your goals and success that must be your  focus. Fit in everything else around them.

Yes, you’re really busy. Just like everyone else. But people who successfully reach their goals follow this pattern of scheduling priorities first.

Let’s say someone asks to meet with you at a certain time. If one of your priorities is already in that timeslot, negotiate a different time. No one I’ve worked with has ever lost a client or deal because of it.

In fact, most find their productivity – and their paychecks – skyrocket.

Action – Today, review your timetable for the next 2 weeks. Are all your priorities already scheduled?

If you make it a habit to schedule your priorities, you’ll soon see positive results.
