Action – Right now, stand as you would if feeling full of confidence. Hold your chin high, shoulders back and spine straight. Open your eyes wide. Smile slightly. Hold this position for 15 seconds.
Now, stand as if feeling doubtful. Hunch your shoulders, slouch down and hold your head low. Feel the heaviness of your body. Hold this position for 15 seconds.
Then switch back to the confident stance. Then switch back to doubtful. And repeat this a few times.
Your brain will react to the physical state of your body. And you can trick your brain into releasing serotonin and other feel-good neurotransmitters by acting as if you already feel that way.
