The Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw said “the people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want and, if they can’t find them, make them.”

When was the last time you truly and consciously created your reality?

To know the answer, just ask yourself whether you DON’T pursue certain goals because it’s not the right time, you don’t have the money or the leaves aren’t laid out in the teacup properly!

I often hear otherwise intelligent people use these and similar phrases as their reason for not going after a goal.

These aren’t reasons – they’re excuses! And if you have excuses, then you are NOT making your circumstances.

Action – What’s one excuse currently in your repertoire? What do you need to actively do to move that excuse out of your way?

As you do, you’ll be proactively creating what you really want.

(What ‘excuse’ do you commonly use? Please share by leaving a reply in the comments box.)
