I’ve been self-employed now for over 10 years. These days, that’s a amazing accomplishment!
But it has not always been easy. There were times when I wasn’t quite sure if the mortgage would get paid or the cat fed! I’ve wondered why others seem to do so much better than I was doing. And I’ve struggled through illness and pain because I thought I ‘had to’ work, come hell or high water.
Through those frightening moments, I learned what the psychologist Lee Salk meant when he said – when it gets dark enough, you can see the stars.
The stars that I saw have made me even more successful. I’m more focused, compassionate and aware. I take greater risks. I’ve created products – including these audios – as a direct result of the darkness.
Action – Stop viewing what’s dark in your world right now as completely negative. Pause for a moment and look for the stars.
I guarantee you will start to see them twinkle!
I don’t know how you knew I needed to hear this today, Nancy – I will indeed look for the stars and the northern lights today! Thank you 🙂
Nancy, this is such a great message – really needed this one today. You are awesome – have I mentioned that?? Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!
This resonated with me as well today. Thanks for a far more hopeful perspective. Cheers =)
Wow! Thank you, Nancy!! I also don’t know how you knew I needed to hear this today! I will pause for a moment and look for the stars. 🙂
