I don't know, let's find out

Will you succeed? Dr. Susan Jeffers has the answer.

Which is … I don’t know, let’s find out.

Those six words from the book Embracing Uncertainty create a really powerful phrase you can use to combat your fears of the unknown.

In our lives, we hold on to what we think we know so tightly that we risk less and stop challenging ourselves.

Successful people embrace uncertainty; they don’t hide from it. They know what they can and can’t control. They don’t take wild risks but they do say “I don’t know, let’s find out.”

Action – You can use this phrase to shift your perspective on a situation or task that appears daunting.

Next time you hesitate because you don’t know the answer, simply say “I don’t know, lets find out” and see what shifts in your own mind.

These six words are far more powerful than “I don’t know so let’s do nothing!”
