Whatever you plant into your subconscious mind and feed each day will one day become your reality. You are what you think.
So what are you growing in there?
Look around to see, because whatever has been growing in your internal garden has become your reality.
What aspects of your life have you created positively? Negatively. What is working and what’s not quite right yet? What keeps you awake at night and what makes you laugh with sheer enjoyment?
Whatever all of that is, you have created it.
Which is fabulous! This means that can cultivate what you want and shed what you don’t want.
The first step is to raise your awareness to what that internal garden looks like.
Action – Whether by words or through drawings and pictures, create a flowers and weeds list. Fill one sheet of paper with all the positive things, attitudes, behaviors and results that you enjoy – the flowers. The other sheet is the weeds list that includes all the insidious aspects of your life that you want to get rid of.
You must know what’s in the garden before you just start pruning!
(What’s the first thing on your weeds list that has got to go? Please share by leaving a reply in the comments box.)
