To get anything done at work, it’s what you devote your time to that counts. And if you’re not giving 100% of your best to your time, you are guaranteed to get less than your best result.

It IS important to remember that a person’s best fluctuates. If I’ve not slept well or if I’m wracked with internal noise or fear, my best might be less today than yesterday.

But all things being equal, if nothing’s in your way, yet you still avoid getting on with things – then your devotion to success needs to be re-analyzed.

Keys for showing real devotion include –

* staying focused on task
* ignoring insignificant fears that are just distractions
* having the attitudes and actions you KNOW will help you get stuff done
* and saying ‘no’ to things that you don’t have the time for

Action – Instead of complaining about your lack of time, look honestly at how you use the time you actually have!
